A practical Thao Dien guide covering outdoor play, pottery, football and creative brick building.
Choose a Thao Dien activity that fits your day
Thao Dien has options for a quick family stop, a creative session and a longer-term class. Before choosing, decide whether your child needs open play, a focused project or structured coaching.
The four ideas below are current KiddoGo listings with different age, price and booking requirements. Check the linked page and confirm the latest details with the organiser before travelling.
Four different ways to spend time in Thao Dien
Relax while younger children play outdoors
The Snap Cafe is a family café and restaurant with an outdoor sand playground. KiddoGo currently lists it for ages 1–12, with adults remaining close by while children play.
There is no separate playground admission published. Families order food and drinks at menu prices, so the final cost depends on what you choose.
Paint a ceramic piece together
Ceramic4you Pottery Painting Workshop is listed for ages 6 and up. Families choose a ceramic item, decorate it with the available tools and collect the fired piece later.
KiddoGo currently lists prices from 300,000 VND per person, with 2.5 hours of painting and firing included. Drop-in visits are possible, but advance booking is recommended.
Try structured football before committing to a term
Fox Football Classes at An Phu Sports Park offers age-group coaching for boys and girls ages 4–17. Younger groups focus on fundamentals and confidence, while older groups add tactics and match play.
A free trial is currently available. Ask Fox for the correct age group, timetable and term quote before attending.
Build, swap and keep creating
Click Clack Cafe - Thao Dien combines a café with open-ended brick building. The venue says families can choose from more than 80 LEGO sets and exchange sets during the visit.
KiddoGo currently lists a 200,000 VND day Brick Pass. Drinks are separate, and the venue may host events, so check its latest schedule before leaving.
Plan the visit more smoothly
- Match the activity to your time. A café stop is flexible, while pottery and coaching need a clearer time block.
- Check the age rule. Some listings have a supported age range, while Click Clack does not publish one clearly.
- Ask about booking. Football requires a trial booking, while the other options are more flexible.
- Plan for Thao Dien traffic. A short distance can still take time around school and weekend peaks.
- Keep a weather back-up. The Snap playground is outdoors, while pottery and brick building offer indoor alternatives.
