Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account and profile data. When you sign in with Google or with email and password we store your email, display name and an optional avatar image.
• Favourites and preferences. Activities you save and preferences such as language and theme. When you are signed in, saved activities are stored on our servers so they follow you across devices; when you are not signed in they stay in your browser.
• Reviews and submissions. Activity reviews, platform reviews and community activity suggestions you submit. These are moderated by our team before publication.
• Organizer claims, enquiries and reports. Organizer claim requests, enquiries sent through activity pages and reports submitted through the report page or Facebook. We store these so we can pass them on to the right organizer and follow up.
• Email delivery. When we send transactional emails on your behalf (for example an enquiry to an organizer) we log delivery outcomes and maintain a suppression list for bounces and unsubscribes.
• Activity engagement events. For each activity detail view and search-result open we store one first-party event row. Each row contains the activity, the event type (view or search-result open), your signed-in user id if any, a random per-tab session identifier, a small set of structured filters (age band, district, category, collection, listing format) and a timestamp. Raw events are readable only by KiddoGo admins and are aggregated for analytics and Top Picks ranking. We do not store free-text search queries in engagement events.
• Local device data. A small interest profile made of recent structured signals (age bands, categories, districts, listing formats, collections) is kept in your browser's localStorage on your device. It is used on your device to gently personalise Top Picks and is not sent to our servers as a personal profile. The random session identifier lives in sessionStorage, so it is normally new for a new browser tab or session.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. KiddoGo is designed for parents and caregivers. Please do not submit identifiable or sensitive information about children in reviews, submissions, enquiries or reports.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies for sign-in sessions and a small set of localStorage and sessionStorage entries for language, theme, saved activities, the local interest profile, the session identifier and install helpers. No third-party advertising trackers.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers for hosting, database, authentication, storage and email delivery. Data may be processed outside Vietnam by these providers. We choose providers that offer reasonable security safeguards and only share the information they need to run the service.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Enquiries, reports and moderation records are kept for a reasonable period so we can follow up. Engagement events are retained for the shorter of what is useful for analytics or what is operationally reasonable. Email delivery logs and the suppression list are kept as long as needed to keep sending reliable. On account deletion we remove personal identifiers and keep only what is required for legal, security or dispute-resolution reasons.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account and content at any time. Sign out from the preferences menu, remove saved activities from the Saved page, or contact us to request deletion.

We aim to align with Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 (effective 1 January 2026) and its implementing rules, including the principles of purpose limitation, minimisation, transparency and data subject rights. This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
