Family Day Planner

Information checked 20 October 2026. All times are local HCMC time.

October still has two weekends of costumes, creative workshops and family outings ahead. This planner focuses on 20–31 October, with programmes continuing into 1 November marked clearly. Choose one main outing, check its booking conditions, and leave room for a quieter alternative.

Choose your October plan

  • A short creative session: Get Arty's mask-making workshop for ages 6–12, or Rensei's science, slime and games afternoon for ages 4–14.
  • A daytime family celebration: Boule & Billes in Thảo Điền, Tinker's Pumpkin Village, or the AHI Halloween Bazaar.
  • An English-language adventure: RISE's free Witch Academy for ages 3–12, with registration and different campuses on each date.
  • A school-holiday week: Boule & Billes' Halloween Camp for ages 3–11 in Bình Thạnh.
  • A different October outing: children's artwork at Tôn Đức Thắng Museum, SC VivoCity's cat festival, or an indoor-play visit.

These are activity ideas, not a promise of remaining places. An unstated price does not mean free entry, and an event aimed at families may still include dark rooms, loud music or costumed performers.

Weekend one: 24–25 October

Start with a daytime celebration

Boule & Billes, Thảo Điền: craft and slime workshops, face painting, a magician, a photo booth and market stands run on Saturday 24 October, 10:00–12:00, at 42 Nguyễn Đăng Giai, An Khánh. The party welcomes families from outside the school. Entry is 100,000 VND per child, paid on arrival, with no registration required. The school says there is no parking on site. Read the school's practical information.

UTScary Day: children aged 5–10 can explore language, art and science activities on 24 October, 09:00–11:00, while parents learn about the school. Choose either 80/68 Dương Quảng Hàm, An Nhơn, or 68 Đường số 22, Bình Hưng, when registering. This is a school open day; the announcement does not state a fee. See UTS's programme and registration link.

Pumpkin Village: Tinker's morning programme on 24 and 25 October, 08:30–11:30, is advertised for ages 2+, with pumpkin games, costumes and sweet surprises. Tickets are 200,000 VND per child and 50,000 VND per adult. The venue is Tinker Park, 7B Tân Phú, Phú Mỹ Hưng, District 7, rather than Tinker's indoor District 1 venue. See Tinker's poster.

Choose crafts or a mystery adventure

Get Arty: make a Halloween mask on Sunday 25 October, 15:30–17:00, at 19 Đường số 46, Thảo Điền. The event is aimed at ages 6–12 and costs 450,000 VND per child, including materials. A 10% discount for two or more children is advertised. Reserve through the studio and prepare cash for payment on the day. Open the organiser's event page.

The Oddity Museum: Tinker describes five rooms and five mysteries, with lights going out during the adventure. The organiser's description gives 16:30–19:30 on both 24 and 25 October, despite an inconsistent Facebook header. Tickets are 350,000 VND per child and 50,000 VND per adult, at the same District 7 park. Ask Tinker about appropriate ages and how intense the experience is. The advertised early-bird deadline was before 20 October, so it is not included in our prices. Read the official event description.

SC VivoCity's Rabbit Burrow party is also announced for 24–25 October, Level 1, at 1058 Nguyễn Văn Linh, Tân Hưng. The mall promises Halloween activities, decorations and mystery gifts, subject to terms and stocks. Session times, fees and ages are not stated in the accessible announcement. Check the mall's October programme.

Half-term week: 26–30 October

Boule & Billes' Halloween Camp is at its Bình Thạnh campus, 183 Điện Biên Phủ, for ages 3–11, including children from other schools. The programme includes masks, face painting, slime, games and a Thursday outing.

Choose 700,000 VND per half-day, 900,000 VND per full day, or 4,000,000 VND for the full week. Activities, materials and meals/snacks are included as described by the school; the full-week package includes the Thursday outing. Full days run 07:30–16:00. Activities are in French, and the adults also speak English and Vietnamese. Check the timetable, inclusions and registration.

Halloween weekend: 29 October–1 November

Make something, dress up or explore

Vietopia: the official event runs 29 October–1 November, with a mask workshop and trick-or-treat candy hunt at 98 Nguyễn Thị Thập, Tân Hưng. The advertised 199,000 VND child ticket requires early online booking. Check whether that offer is still available, the adult charge and the event hours before paying. The venue's general play-age guidance is 4–15, rather than an event-specific age rule. Check the official ticket page.

Rensei Today: Biệt Đội Săn Ma combines a science show, slime, candy-basket making and board games for ages 4–14 on 31 October, 14:00–16:00, at 18A/10 Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, Sài Gòn Ward. The fee is 200,000 VND per child, with 50,000 VND off each child for groups of three or more. See the organiser's registration details.

RISE Witch Academy: a free, registered English-language adventure for ages 3–12, 16:00–18:00. On 31 October, choose Gia Hòa (183 Đường III), Nguyễn Thái Sơn (438 Nguyễn Thái Sơn) or Điện Biên Phủ (79 Điện Biên Phủ). On 1 November, the event moves to Lương Định Của (30 Lương Định Của) and Tên Lửa (8–10 Đường 17A). Register for the correct campus and date.

Spend the day at the AHI bazaar

The AHI Halloween Bazaar is scheduled for 31 October, 08:00–16:00, in An Khánh, supporting SingCham's Education Fund. The CCIFV partner announcement lists free admission for AHI parents and 50,000 VND for non-AHI parents. It does not establish the children's entry price or a complete family cost. Ask AHI which entrance to use, what activities cost extra and whether visitor booking is needed. Read the current partner announcement.

Mall visits throughout the rest of October

PARC Mall, 547–549 Tạ Quang Bửu, Chánh Hưng: The Silent Town runs through 1 November. Selected craft and face-painting activities are advertised free, and trick-or-treat runs 30 October–1 November. There are also costumed characters and evening parades. The source contains inconsistent workshop-date labels, so check individual sessions with the mall rather than assuming activities run all day. Ask about the scare level for younger children. See PARC Mall's programme.

Crescent Mall, 101 Tôn Dật Tiên, District 7 area: Phú Mỹ Hưng Ngày Nay reports a giant Kuromi photo setting, candy-basket workshops on 24–25 October, face painting on 31 October–1 November, and a 31 October celebration, 10:00–22:00, Hall B on the ground floor. Workshop times and fees are not stated. The original mall event link was unavailable during our check, so confirm with Crescent Mall before planning around a specific activity. Read the community publication's report.

October outings without the Halloween theme

Look at children's artwork: Tôn Đức Thắng Museum's Hành trình 20 mùa hoa exhibition continues through 28 February 2027, with more than 180 documents, artefacts and prize-winning works connected to its children's art competition. Visit 5 Tôn Đức Thắng, Sài Gòn Ward. The museum lists Tuesday–Sunday, 07:30–11:30 and 13:00–17:00, closed Monday. Confirm admission arrangements directly. Open the KiddoGo listing or read the museum's announcement.

Visit a cat festival: SC VivoCity's October programme also announces an International Cat Festival on 31 October–1 November, Level 1. Event hours, admission and child-specific participation rules are not given in that announcement; check with the mall. See the October programme.

Keep an indoor backup: compare KiddoGo's indoor-playground guide, or browse activities for a nearby option. Check current opening hours and prices directly with the venue.

Sold out and details still to confirm

Maison Marou's 24 October Halloween Treats Masterclass is marked sold out on its official booking page, with a waitlist offered. It is not presented here as an available booking. Check Marou's waitlist.

For events without a published fee, numeric age range or session time, ask the organiser before making the journey. We have left those details unknown rather than using a broad age range or treating missing prices as free entry.

Before you leave

  1. Confirm the exact session, campus, entrance and remaining places.
  2. Add up child and adult tickets, materials, food and any service conditions.
  3. Ask about darkness, loud sounds and costumed performers if your child is unsure about spooky activities.
  4. For outdoor plans, ask what happens if it rains. Keep costumes comfortable and easy to move in.
  5. Save the activity on KiddoGo and check the organiser's latest announcement again before leaving.

KiddoGo is an independent family-activity guide. Schedules, prices and availability can change; the organiser confirms your booking.
