What children can do there

Vườn Nhà Gốm Studio is a handmade-pottery training centre in the traditional Lái Thiêu pottery village (former Bình Dương, now Ho Chi Minh City), about 15–20 minutes' drive from Saigon, Thủ Dầu Một and Biên Hòa according to the studio. Families can get their hands in the clay and hear about the craft from artisans. One-session workshops for all ages and generations cover wheel throwing (xoay), hand-building (nặn) and painting (vẽ) pottery. The studio also runs pottery courses, team building and mobile workshops. During its April 2026 'Sắc Gốm Tự Do' event it launched a 'little artisan' role-play activity for children aged 5–12 – ask whether it is still running. Pricing (April 2026 pricing, to be confirmed): during the 24 Apr – 3 May 2026 event, a 180-minute three-experience combo (wheel + hand-build + paint) was 495,000 VND and a 2-in-1 combo was 325,000 VND.
