Bà Canh Kite Field is a wide, open field on Nguyễn Thị Đành Street with steady wind and few tall buildings. Families visit in the late afternoon to fly kites, picnic and watch specialist kite clubs. Recent 2026 coverage shows the field active from roughly 16:00 to 20:00, with weekends especially busy and occasional giant artistic kites measuring tens of metres. Access is free and kites are sold on site, but a regular rental service was not confirmed. Roads and parking can become congested, so families should arrive early, keep children away from traffic and crowded kite lines, and supervise them closely.
