What children will learn or practise

Get Arty’s August camp gives children time and freedom to develop bigger creative ideas inside a professional art studio. Week one runs from Tuesday 4 to Friday 7 August and focuses on designing and building a Tree House Adventure. Week two runs from Monday 10 to Wednesday 12 August and focuses on designing, making and decorating imaginative papier-mâché figures. Each morning runs from 09:30 to 12:00. Children explore different artist materials, plan from their own ideas, practise new techniques and can continue a larger project across several sessions or complete smaller pieces over two mornings. The studio describes the programme as imaginative, experimental and intentionally messy, with encouragement from its in-house artist. Advance reservation is required. Get Arty confirms preferred dates and sends payment details through WhatsApp or email, but the current camp fee is not publicly displayed.
